On 22nd July 2016, IBID Group completed its takeover of Pragmatic Play as part of its strategy to enhance its internet portfolio by partnering with “first-class licensed content providers”.
IBID Group is an investment firm that focuses on acquiring internet properties and building them into “leading digital gaming providers”.
IBID will work together with Pragmatic Play’s team in order to unlock its potential for further growth and generate higher returns for shareholders. The successful conclusion of this acquisition serves to strengthen the group’s positioning in the remote gaming sector, while significantly extending its reach throughout the entire gaming supply chain, from payment gateways and content providers, to B2B and B2C marketing.
